Three builds, one rifle. PGMP stands for Poignée Garde-Main Polyvalente: the metal mounting unit with which the Armée de Terre upgraded its FAMAS F1 for real combat optics before the FÉLIN programme. Within the troops the rifle was then called “FAMAS Infanterie”.

LEGIO PATRIA NOSTRA
The Foreign Legion received the FAMAS in 1979 as one of the first units and carried it in Beirut, the Gulf, Afghanistan, the Sahel and Iraq. Green and red are its colours, the seven-flame grenade its emblem.
